In a refreshing change of pace from boardrooms and business strategy sessions, EO Melbourne members recently stepped into a tranquil space designed for renewal—the Elemental Breath and Sound Experience, presented by Next Step Collective.
Led by co-founders Eugene Koning, Jamie Patara, and Jayden McGrath, the 90-minute session offered a rare opportunity for members to pause, reconnect, and recharge. Through guided breathwork and sound healing, participants journeyed from focused activation to deep stillness, balancing effort and ease, mind and body.
The experience began with intentional breathwork to energise and centre the body, followed by a restorative immersion in the soothing tones of ancient and electronic instruments. As the sounds filled the room, layers of tension and stress seemed to dissolve, leaving a sense of calm clarity.
More than a wellness activity, this session reflected EO Melbourne’s commitment to holistic leadership development, recognising that thriving as an entrepreneur extends beyond business success. The chapter continually seeks out experiences that nourish both the professional and the personal, helping members cultivate balance, creativity, and resilience.
Participants left feeling lighter and more grounded, many noting improved focus, deeper relaxation, and renewed energy. For some, the session unlocked creative ideas; for others, it simply offered space to breathe amid the demands of leadership.
With the guidance of Eugene, Jamie, and Jayden—each bringing their own journey through transformation and healing—EO Melbourne members were reminded that leadership strength grows from within. By caring for their mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing, they return to their businesses and families with greater clarity and connection.
At EO Melbourne, growth isn’t just about scaling companies. It’s also about nurturing the person behind the entrepreneur.
