Q: Can you give a brief background about you, your family and your business?
I’m very much a results-focused, entrepreneurial and commercially focused managing director with the expertise and vision to expand revenue and brand opportunities across national and international markets.
I have earned a reputation as someone focused on the big picture while delivering “exceptional” rather than “expected” results. I need to be part of a progressive team where creative thinking and collaboration solve problems and ensure company success and growth. With a strong customer-first focus, I can quickly identify operational improvements and new product opportunities; while enhancing brand visibility and sales. I have achieved this several times previously, starting and selling a successful business, turning business performance around, and achieving staggering business growth during challenging economic climates.
My family provides me with confidence. They inspire me to continue pushing both personal & professional development. Gigi, 6.5 years old, is engaging, confident, very social and caring big sister to Jagger, 4 years old, who is calm, centred, relaxed, happy & loving.
Health Lab’s purpose is simple; empower people with feel-good snacking options that satisfy cravings to help them thrive, without any guilt. Health Lab does this by creating delicious snacks that are made with natural, plant-based ingredients.
Our mission for 2023 is to Remove 100 tonnes of sugar from Aussie snackers.
Q: What inspired you to be an entrepreneur?
From a young age, I’ve been inspired to be in control of my destiny, and entrepreneurialism embraces that.
Q: What do you enjoy most about being an entrepreneur?
What I enjoy most is creating, growing and developing something from nothing.
Q: What are the biggest challenges you have faced as an entrepreneur?
The biggest challenge that one faces as an entrepreneur is having the discipline and focus to pursue your most creative self, as it's easy to be in a vortex of wearing all the hats in the business and being caught up in the movement, not progress.
