Learning, Connection and New Ideas at the Fortuna One Summit
More than 100 EO members from across Australia came together in Sydney for the Fortuna One Summit, with entrepreneurs from EO Melbourne, EO Sydney, EO Queensland, EO Adelaide and EO Perth joining the two-day experience at Qudos Bank Arena.
The summit brought together world-renowned speakers, entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders, including Tony Robbins, Steven Bartlett, Kayla Itsines and Aaron Sansoni, for two days of learning, new perspectives and connection. While the summit was not an EO-organised event, the national EO delegation created an opportunity for members from different chapters to experience it together.
A strong theme throughout the summit was the importance of turning knowledge into action. Speakers challenged attendees to experiment, make decisions and put ideas into practice rather than waiting for perfect conditions or complete certainty.
This was reflected in discussions around leadership and business growth, from building teams that can operate without the founder to creating systems that allow a business to scale without simply adding more hours, people or complexity. Members were encouraged to think beyond revenue and consider whether their businesses are creating greater freedom, value and long-term ownership.
AI was another major focus, with speakers exploring how businesses can move beyond experimenting with individual tools and start integrating AI into everyday operations. The practical advice was to begin with business bottlenecks, identify repetitive decisions and processes, and look for ways AI can support people, improve efficiency and open up new opportunities.
The conversation around AI also extended to marketing and customer engagement, with speakers highlighting the growing importance of using AI to personalise content, automate follow-up and support sales. The emphasis was less on chasing every new technology and more on understanding where AI can solve a real business problem.
The summit also explored personal performance, resilience and decision-making. Steven Bartlett spoke about understanding the trade-offs behind success, making decisions with imperfect information and recognising when it is time to change direction. Tony Robbins focused on the role of mindset, state and action, while Joseph McClendon III explored how habits and emotional patterns can influence behaviour.
Other sessions brought a broader perspective to wealth, health and life beyond business. Speakers encouraged entrepreneurs to consider whether their businesses support the life they want to lead, build greater financial independence and create space for relationships, family, health and personal growth.
For the EO delegation, the experience extended beyond the sessions themselves. Members had the opportunity to connect with entrepreneurs from other Australian chapters, exchange ideas and continue conversations outside their usual networks, strengthening relationships across the wider EO community.
Ultimately, the summit gave members an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day demands of running a business, challenge their thinking and consider what comes next. From AI and business growth to leadership, wealth and personal performance, the two days offered ideas and perspectives that members could take back into their businesses and apply in their own way.
