Member Connect Dinners: Where Conversations Turned Into Connections

Member Connect Dinners brought EO Melbourne members together for an evening centred on meaningful conversations and genuine connection.

Held across three venues on the same night, the dinners created intimate settings where members could connect beyond the usual event format. Gatherings at Marmelo and From Here by Mike brought together members from across the chapter, while Entrecôte hosted a special dinner in the private Le Conservatoire dining space for new members and those with seven or more years in EO.

At Marmelo and From Here by Mike, the smaller group setting encouraged conversations that often don’t happen at larger events. Members had the opportunity to connect with people they had not previously met or spoken with in depth, creating space for new relationships to form naturally throughout the evening.

As conversations unfolded over dinner, members shared stories about their businesses, entrepreneurial journeys, challenges, and experiences. The intimate atmosphere allowed for authentic exchanges and valuable insights, while also helping members discover unexpected common ground with others from different industries and backgrounds.

Meanwhile, the dinner at Entrecôte created a unique dynamic between newer and tenured members of the chapter. Members with longstanding involvement in EO had the opportunity to reconnect with the next generation of entrepreneurs joining the community, while newer members gained perspective from those who had already navigated years of business growth, leadership, and EO experiences.

The evening created stronger connections across different stages of the EO journey. Conversations moved quickly beyond introductions, leading to deeper discussions, fresh ideas, and relationships that will continue well beyond the event itself.

Across all three venues, the Member Connect Dinners reflected what makes EO Melbourne special: creating opportunities for members to come together in smaller, more personal settings where genuine relationships can grow. For many, it was a chance to strengthen existing connections, meet members they had not interacted with before, and walk away feeling even more connected to the EO community.
