EO Members Served Up Connection at the Pickleball Socials
Laughter, friendly competition and plenty of new connections were on the agenda as EO Melbourne members came together for another successful EO Pickleball Socials at Dink & Drive Pickleball Club in Port Melbourne.
Following the popularity of our first session earlier this year, members returned to the courts for an afternoon that perfectly balanced fun, movement and meaningful connection. With spouses and partners also joining in, the event created a relaxed atmosphere where everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced players, could jump in and enjoy the game.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was just how accessible pickleball proved to be. Easy to learn and quick to pick up, it gave everyone the chance to get involved from the very first rally. The rotating teams kept the games fresh while naturally encouraging members to meet and play alongside a wide range of fellow entrepreneurs throughout the session.
Members shared how much they appreciated the opportunity to interact through friendly competition in a casual, social setting. Many commented that the event offered a refreshing change from our regular learning and workshop events, providing an active way to strengthen relationships while having plenty of fun. Others highlighted the structured format, which made it easy to connect with new people and ensured everyone felt included.
More than just an afternoon on the courts, the EO Pickleball Socials once again demonstrated the value of creating space for members to build genuine connections outside the boardroom. Whether rallying for points or chatting between matches, the event captured what makes the EO community so special: shared experiences, lasting friendships and the chance to connect beyond business.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to seeing even more members on the court at our next EO Pickleball Socials.
