Let’s get to know more Nathan that will inspire you on your entrepreneurial journey.

Q: Could you provide a brief background about yourself, your family, and your business?

I am a software geek who has spent the last 25 years trying to build useful systems. I have lived in Australia, NZ and London and spent significant time in Singapore and the Philippines, giving me a weirdly mixed accent that confuses people to no end. It makes it challenging when I say to people I was born and mainly raised in Sydney.

I now have four kids, two from a previous marriage, and I really enjoy being a Dad and husband. It is a big part of my why.

Q: What inspired you to embark on the entrepreneurial journey?

Since I was a teenager, I have been dabbling in business ventures, mostly unsuccessful. From importing Japanese cars, building custom PCs or trying to scale my current tech consulting and cookie businesses, I always seem to be getting excited about the next challenge.

Q: What aspects of being an entrepreneur do you enjoy the most?

It gives me the feeling that I can impact my life and others around me in the best way. It is also one of the biggest drivers of personal growth if I will let it. 😅

Q: What are the significant challenges you have encountered as an entrepreneur?

My main challenges have been to acknowledge my own shortcomings and work out how to get help.

Q: What motivated you to join EO?

I like the value of the forum, and I hope to build some lifelong friendships from it.

Q: Can you share a valuable lesson you've learned from your own experience or another entrepreneur or mentor?

Growth is so important as a human. It keeps us alive, interested and passionate about the world.

My lesson for now and forever is to look for the areas in my life that have uncomfortable feelings and to honestly address them. These are the areas of growth that really make a difference for me. I see EO as further enabling this for me.
