Celebrating Growth and Connection at the Mentorship Program Wrap-up

EO Melbourne recently gathered to celebrate the conclusion of another successful Mentorship Program for FY 2025/26 — a program that continues to be one of the most valuable benefits of EO Membership.

The wrap-up brought mentors and mentees together to reflect on the conversations, breakthroughs and relationships formed over the past year. More than just professional guidance, the program created space for honest discussions, shared experiences and the kind of perspective that only comes from entrepreneurs learning directly from one another.

For mentee Rod Janover, the experience reinforced the importance of commitment and accountability. He shared, “A good mentor requires you to show up, be prepared and do the hard work. Having that monthly cadence really got me zoned in on the most important things. Like Forum, if you commit, the process will reveal learnings and growth opportunities.”

Others reflected on the value of stepping back from the day-to-day pressures of business. Sherrie Krampel shared that being paired with her mentor, Graeme Goldman, became one of the highlights of her EO journey so far. “This program has been one of the best value adds since joining EO,” Sherrie said.

Their conversations explored everything from growth strategy and business trends to the realities of balancing leadership, family life and personal wellbeing — discussions that are often difficult to navigate alone.

The evening also highlighted how mentorship can accelerate learning by drawing on lived experience. Nadi Elias reflected on the importance of learning from those who have navigated multiple business cycles before According to Nadi, “Mentorship matters. Not because mentors hand you answers. Because they compress decades of mistakes into conversations you get to learn from without paying the full price yourself.”

His reflections captured the spirit of the program perfectly: real growth happens through openness, generosity and the willingness to learn from others who have walked the path before you.

The success of this year’s Mentorship Program was made possible by the mentors and mentees who invested their time, experience and openness throughout the journey. Their willingness to share lessons, challenge perspectives and support one another continues to strengthen the EO Melbourne community and create an environment where meaningful growth can happen.

The next intake for the EO Melbourne Mentorship Program opens this August.
